As I grew up I decided to become a marine biologist and have been privileged to dive in many of the world's oceans studying coral reef fish. I also have done considerable work in the fresh waters of North America. Photography began as a hobby and was a helpful adjunct to my research. I have expanded my subjects to include a wide array of animals and plants as well as people, so I am no longer just doing marine subjects. more
